Central Illinois Green Club Activities Each year we hold, sponsor, and organize a number of activities. There is always something for everybody. Each year we hold a swap meet, and there are always great treasures just waiting to be found at the spacious Evans' farm. The 2012 Swap neet will be held on June 2. All are invited and to attend anybody can bring there treasures to sell. Here is the registration information for the swap meet. Ride The River 2010 was a great success and we are hoping to make Ride the River 2012 just as good! We host the ride in conjunction with Kankakee Community College. Held every two years, this year's Ride will be our third, and it will be held on August 25. Proceeds from Ride The River go directly to Kankakee Community College students. To date we have raised over $18000.00 for Agriculture/Horticulture scholarships using this event. In 2010, there were at over 130 riders and 28 sponsors, and we are hoping to have just as many this year. We thank everyone in advance for their continued support! Here is the archived information on Ride the River 2008. We had a lot of fun! We help make the tractor games possible at the Heritage Tractor Drive. This year will be no different. It is lots of fun! If you have never seen it before you should come check it out! The 2010 Heritage Tractor Adventure tractor games will be held on June 6th in Oglesby, Illinois at 2:30 pm on Walnut Street. Unfortunately there is limited information about this on the Heritage Drive website. So, if you have questions contact Nancy or John Evans for more details. We hope to see you there!!!
